THE FERRARI OPUS IN YOUR POCKET

The Ferrari Opus smart-phone will be preloaded with extraordinary content from The Official Ferrari Opus also including never before seen content from notable Ferrari icons and racing greats.

Branded with the Prancing Horse, both on the phone and the packaging, this is the ultimate object of desire.

Images from The Official Ferrari Opus on the phone include behind the scenes shots with the workers at the legendary factory in Maranello, at the races with the F1 team and even in the cockpit with the drivers, the phone offers an unprecedented insight into the magic of Ferrari.

The “cheapest” version of the book retails at $4,100, if you can stomach that. This edition is called “Classic” and is limited at 4,100 copies. In addition to all those words, pictures, and pages, the book will be signed by current Ferrari F1 drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.

Next to the Classic is the “Cavallino Rampante Edition”, which is limited to just 500 copies priced at $7,500. The difference between this version and the ‘Classic’ is that this one will be signed by “Ferrari greats, past and present”.

Then, there’s the crown jewel, literally and figuratively. The “Enzo Diamante Edition” will only have 400 copies and will be adorned with 30 diamonds that make up Ferrari’s iconic Prancing Horse logo on the cover. Each country will have no more than one copy of the book, making it that much more valuable and as such, more expensive. And if you just happen to be one of the few that actually is rich – or dumb, take your pick – enough to afford this $275,000 book, then you also get a chance to win a replica of a Michael Schumacher-driven Formula One race car.

While we certainly won’t blame passionate members of Ferrari’s tifosi from splurging all that money on this book, we’re going to have to pass on buying even the ‘cheapest’ version of this book. $4,100 is a lot of money by our estimates, especially for…a book!
